Hoedt immediately scores for Watford

GAMES Wesley Hoedt has not missed his debut at Watford. The Dutchman played the entire match against Blackburn Rovers this afternoon and scored the equaliser 15 minutes before time. The game ended 1-1.


Hoedt received a lot of praise on Twitter for his first performance at Watford. In a comment on the Watford website, he therefore reacted with great satisfaction. "We dominated the whole match, but couldn't score. That has to improve. To score on my debut feels very nice. Although I would have preferred to take the three points."

Last weekend, Hoedt remained on the bench for the whole match. Next Tuesday, Hoedt will take on Vincent Kompany's Burnley with Watford.
