Slimani stays with national team

INJURIES The injury Islam Slimani suffered Sunday against OH Leuven does not seem to be too bad. The striker will remain with Algeria's national team this week and will not return to Anderlecht to recover. That is what the Algerian Football Federation reports.


Algeria's medical staff will, however, monitor Slimani's situation and assess whether he can play during the international games. Algeria plays twice against Niger on Thursday and Monday.
