YOUTH On the first day of the Future Cup, Anderlecht recorded a draw and a win. The purple and white U17 played a draw in their first match against Denmark's Nordsjaelland. In the afternoon, Anderlecht won against PSG. Even a goal by Kylian Mbappé's brother could not prevent that.

In the first game this morning, barely 14-year-old Gassimou Sylla (pictured) brought Anderlecht into the lead. Five minutes later, Nordsjaelland equalized. In the other match, PSG beat Chelsea 2-1.

In the second game, Ethan Mbappé, brother of, brought PSG into the lead. Anderlecht responded and, through Maël Debondt, Mohamed Waki and Ludovick Wola-Wetshay, pulled the sheet. In the other match of play round two, Nordsjælland won 1-4 over Chelsea

After day one, Anderlecht and Nordsjaelland lead together with 4 out of 6. PSG is third with 3 points. Chelsea dangles scoreless at the bottom. Tomorrow at 10 a.m. Anderlecht will take on Chelsea in the final group match. A draw is enough for a ticket to the semifinals.
In the other group, Ajax leads with two wins in as many duels. Borussia Mönchengladbach and Juventus both have three points. Mexico's Pachuca has zero. Ajax still plays Juventus tomorrow and Borussia Mönchengladbach against Pachuca.
