DAMES The RSCA Women have clinched their tenth title. The women's team won 1-2 on the field of rival OHL, making the gap too big.

Anderlecht is champion for the sixth time in a row. It took the lead after only 1 minute after an action by Sarah Wijnants. Goalie Evrard saved OHL from more damage in the first half. At the end of the first half, the home team also became dangerous themselves at Den Dreef. After halftime OHL continued to press and had plenty of chances to equalize. But when top shooter Lore Jacobs made it 0-2 on a pass from Wijnants, the game seemed to be played. Leuven still tried and also scored the 1-2 ten minutes before time, but Anderlecht held on and celebrated the championship on the OHL field.

A very good performance by Anderlecht which had to cope with several long-term injuries of important players this season and which also saw star player/goal scoring machine Tessa Wullaert leave for Furtuna Sittard.

Goalkeeper Justien Odeurs says goodbye to Purple and White with her fifth title: "It couldn't be more beautiful than against a direct opponent ... From next season I will be fan number 1."

Coach Dave Mattheus also commented, "The match obviously started perfectly for us and we have the players with experience to finish it off."
