Anderlecht wants to keep Sardella and demands 3 million euros

TRANSFERS If it depends on Jesper Fredberg, Killian Sardella will still be playing for Anderlecht next season. However, the right-back no longer wants to shuffle between starting eleven, bench and stand. A potential buyer, however, will have to dig deep into his pockets.


In December, a departure of Sardella during the winter mercato seemed a near-certainty. Coach Brian Riemer didn't really count on the versatile defender upon his arrival. But thoughts can change, and after the winter break, Sardella emerged as a pleasant surprise.

CEO Sports Jesper Fredberg wants Sardella to compete with another right back for a starting place next year. So if it depends on purple-white, Sardella will stay, and he himself would also like to continue his performance of the last few months.

If a club does want to take over Sardella, so it sounds, it will have to cough up three million euros.

The still only 21-year-old Sardella still has a contract with Anderlecht until 2025.
