INJURIES Killian Sardella decided to undergo surgery a few weeks ago to reinvigorate his career. He expects to be back on the field in mid-August in preparation for the upcoming season and hopes to be at his best in September. Sardella is currently uncertain about his future. He is open to a longer stay with Anderlecht, but does not rule out a transfer during the summer transfer period.
However, he realizes it will be difficult to secure a transfer given his injury and the fact that his contract runs until June 2028. With an eye on the 2026 World Cup, he considers it advantageous to stay with RSCA for a season, rather than move to an unknown club. Indeed, Sardella cherishes hopes of being selected by the national coach.

Continue reading “I have learned this season that the physical strain of a starting place must be managed well and that it is important to listen to my body,” he said.
Sardella also expressed disappointment with the team's performance. In particular, the European elimination after missing the top eight I the league stage of the Europa League, came hard.
“Injuries and mental fatigue knocked us down. For the new season it is essential to be able to start on a new basis,” said Sardella who realizes that transfers will thoroughly shake up the team. Therefore, the defender also advocates a long-term vision and finding an effective formula to ensure stability within the club.
Sardella wanted to say little else about Hasi's work: “I am rehabilitating, but Hasi has focused, among other things, on the mental aspect of the player group. Progress was made in the Champion's Playoffs, but we needed to get more out of it. I fear that against Club Brugge an inferiority complex was also created.”
Finally, he named Colin Coosemans as the best player of the season, who he said played a crucial role in the fourth-place finish. “Coosemans fulfills his role as captain extremely well, with the full support of the team behind him.”
