The club today came out with an update around ticket sales for upcoming matches. The match against Club Brugge is completely sold out, including VIP tickets. The resale starts on Friday, Jan. 10, at 10:00 a.m. via ticketing.rsca.be. General sales for the matches against KV Mechelen and Antwerp then start again today at 10:00 am. Anderlecht's U23 team prepared for the rest of the season today in the Netherlands with a friendly against Heracles. Former Anderlecht player Gilbert 'Gille' Van Binst passed away last night in Zaventem at the age of 73. Van Binst was part of Anderlecht's top team at the end of the 1970s, which won the European Cup II twice, among other things.

Anderlecht slipped considerably with a sour 2-3 defeat against Dender. It started very weak and was soon behind. Purple-White got better into the game and after half an hour it had scored twice itself through Verschaeren and Dreyer. But after halftime Anderlecht, with a substituted Hazard, dropped away completely and Dender punished the lax and too self-confident attitude of Purple-White in the closing stages.
