New contracts for Sambi Lokonga and Amuzu

YOUTH - TRANSFERS The board of Anderlecht will soon sit together with Albert Sambi Lokonga (photo) and Francis Amuzu to discuss on a new contract. Amuzu still has a contract until 2019 and Sambi Lokonga until 2020, both with option for one extra year. The club wants to extend this.


Amuzu will almost certainly be able to compete at Anderlecht next season for a place in the starting eleven. For Sambi Lokonga the club makes an evaluation in August. If there are too few play opportunities for him, a loan is an option.

Amuzu collected three basic spots and seven substitutions this season. He scored once, during his debut against Eupen. The counter of Sambi Lokonga is on four basic spots and two substitutions. In the last three months, however, he only came into action against Charleroi. Then he was allowed to enter seven minutes before time.
