INJURIES - INTERVIEWS Albert Sambi Lokonga (19) is gradually seeing light at the end of the tunnel. The midfielder tore his cruciate ligaments in December and has had a long rehab. He should be ready again in September.

Lokonga is completely part of the player group, but still has doubts. "I'm not sure when I'll be 100% fit," says Lokonga. He is still afraid of going into a duel and also fears a mental relapse, but that is not abnormal when you have been out for so long.

Kompany can assist Lokonga well in that regard. Kompany was confronted with various long-term injuries during his career, but it was not specifically discussed. "I hope I won't be injured that often in my career." Lokonga adds.

The midfielder also tells that Kompany guides the players well on the field, but also outside. Kompany is also most of the time with the technical staff and is not constantly in the dressing room.
