GAMES - YOUTH The U21 of Anderlecht defeated KV Mechelen with 5-0. Mario Stroeykens (photo) scored three times. Kristian Arnstad and Anouar Ait El Hadj, with a lovely curl into the top corner, also found their way to goal. Antoine Colassin, who again played as a deep striker, missed a penalty kick.
Anderlecht played a game of one-way soccer against Mechelen. Purple and white were able to combine and created chance after chance. Goalkeeper Verbruggen had an quiet evening. The visitors were lucky that the score did not get much higher.
KV Mechelen's striker was Joseph Amuzu, the 17-year old brother of Anderlecht player Francis.
