After finishing third in the Belgian league, Anderlecht's U13s traveled to Portugal for the prestigious Algarve Elite Cup. In a competitive tournament with strong teams from different countries, purple and white managed to win four out of eight matches, resulting in a sixth place. Paarswit did get a quick lead through Vazquez but it swerved across the field after that. It was a match with many duels, but with few refined actions. Standard had a few chances after halftime, but Coosemans still managed to get a clean sheet.
