Mediocre Anderlecht suffers unnecessary defeat

Anderlecht has dropped valuable points again. They lost 1-0 at Charleroi, a late goal in which goalkeeper Coosemans made a mistake. Anderlecht played poorly again before halftime and recovered twenty minutes after the break, but their play was sloppy and their finishing was poor. Hazard hit the post with his chest, and Bertaccini's aim was misaligned on several occasions. Anderlecht can catch up with plenty of clubs in the standings this weekend. They cannot afford any slip-ups next week in the Croky Cup and in the league (at home against Mechelen). Read more »

The Anderlecht women know their opponent for the round of 16 of the Europa Cup: they will face Austria Wien from Austria. After an exciting qualifying round, in which Amélie Delabre scored the winning goal against Braga, RSCA Women are now preparing for the main tournament. U20: Tajaouart and Morocco eliminate France

In the semifinals of the U20 World Cup, Morocco tied France 1-1. The young Moroccans managed to qualify for the final by winning 5-4 on penalty kicks. On Saturday, October 18, RSCA Futures will face Lommel, a team currently ranked in the top 6 of the Challenger Pro League with 17 points. Anderlecht, with 9 points, is in 10th place in the standings. In a one-sided match, RSC Anderlecht Futsal gave bottom-of-the-table Club Annessens 25 Brussels no chance. During the clash at the Alfasun Indoor Arena in Roosdaal, the match was already decided before half-time, with an overwhelming 6-0 score.
