Injured Hatenboer says goodbye to Rotterdam

Cedric Hatenboer did not play in Excelsior Rotterdam's match against Jong AZ, in which his team lost 2-1. The player's absence is attributed to an ankle injury, according to press reports. Despite his injury, Hatenboer was present to say goodbye to his supporters. With Excelsior's promotion to the Eredivisie, Hatenboer has achieved his goals for the season. Read more »

Anderlecht took part in a U16 tournament organized by Arsenal in London this weekend. The purple-white U16, reinforced with four players from the 2008 generation, lived up to their international reputation by reaching the final. CAN U20: Baouf to next round with Morocco

Ismael Baouf played the full match for Morocco during their clash with Tunisia in the CAN U20. The young Moroccans secured a convincing 1-3 victory. Thanks to this win, Morocco finishes first in their group, ahead of Nigeria by two points. The Lions of the Atlas have thus secured a place in the next round, although the opponent is not yet known. RSCA can no longer improve European ticket

RSC Anderlecht still has a chance to take third place in the league, currently held by Genk. However, regardless of the outcome, Genk has already secured the European ticket because Club Brugge won the cup and Genk finished first in the league. This means that Anderlecht must prepare for a challenging route in the Europa League anyway, with the team having to go through at least two preliminary rounds to qualify for the group stage.

Thorgan Hazard saw strong moments from both Anderlecht and Club Brugge in the cup final, but he admitted Club Brugge was more effective in front of goal than Anderlecht. “That was the most important factor in this match,” he said. Anderlecht secured a convincing 1-3 victory against Antwerp, solidifying their position in the race for a top-four finish.
