The match between Antwerp and Anderlecht had two completely different halves. Before the break, the home team was clearly the better side, but after the break, the Purple & White fought back. Anderlecht drew 2-2 at Antwerp. After a poor first half and a 2-0 halftime score, another defeat seemed inevitable. Hazard quickly scored the 2-1 from the penalty spot after the break, but Antwerp remained the more dangerous side. Anderlecht secured an important 2-1 victory against STVV. The match only really got going after the break when Anderlecht loanee Goto put STVV ahead from the penalty spot thanks to a controversial penalty. Anderlecht's good run was abruptly ended this afternoon with a 4-0 drubbing at Westerlo. The purple-and-whites were already behind after barely 40 seconds and went into the break 3-0 down, each goal the direct result of an Anderlecht error. Colin Coosemans has just drawn the quarterfinals for the Croky Cup. Anderlecht will play at home against Gent. If Anderlecht beats Gent, it will prepare for a double confrontation with the winner of Antwerp - La Louvière. This means it will avoid Club Brugge and Union. A battling Anderlecht won 1-3 after extra time in Genk. Anderlecht fell behind before the break. The Mauves did not play particularly well, but they kept the faith. Enric Llansana was satisfied with his performance against Union. He admitted that he was exhausted after an hour of play. "I'm coming out of a period with less playing time, but I got through it well. I have great chemistry with Nathan De Cat on the pitch. I also try to give him advice and make sure he keeps both feet on the ground. I've never played with such a talented player as Nathan," he said. Anderlecht has once again won a top match 1-0. This time it happened with less ingenuity than against Club Brugge, but the purple and white are doing very well in the standings. In an intense match with few chances, Angulo quickly scored the decisive 1-0 after a clever move. Anderlecht played well before halftime, but their football was much less impressive after the break.
