The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is preparing to return to Sparta Prague following his loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais. RSCA had asked for around €4 million for a permanent transfer, but Schalke do not have the financial means this summer to put that amount on the table. To address that situation, both clubs are working on an alternative: a new loan spell for Ndiaye at Schalke 04, this time with a mandatory purchase option that would be activated in the summer of 2027.
