Kasper Dolberg has understood his responsibilities within Anderlecht's team, according to Nicolas Frutos. In addition to his technical skills, the striker has now developed a positive mindset, thanks in part to the guidance of David Hubert. Under Brian Riemer's previous policy, Dolberg had to put a lot of energy into secondary tasks, such as dropping back into the game and filling spaces on the sides. This led to a less efficient use of his qualities. Read more »

Anderlecht returned from St-Truiden with a 0-2 win. Purple and white didn't play great, but it had enough of Dolberg's strikers to settle the score in their favor tonight. The Dane scored once in each half (from the spot after halftime). A (unjustified?) red card by Zanka still forced Anderlecht on the defensive, but STVV didn't get any big chances, although they did regularly create danger with crosses and shots from distance. Verschaeren may have to play with extra protection. Read more »
The long-term injured will also not return against the Canaries. These include Ashimeru, Vertonghen, Hazard, Stroeykens and Sardella. Verschaeren is undergoing scans today but he will probably not be able to play. Read more »
Yari Verschaeren played an excellent first half yesterday but stayed in at halftime with a shoulder or collarbone injury. The midfielder left the stadium with a brace and his look betrayed volumes. A scan has yet to bring clarity, but initial impressions point to a somewhat more serious injury. Verschaeren will probably be out for a while. How Hubert will resolve this is unclear for now.
