U16 finish third at Algarve Elite Cup

One week after the meritorious participation of the U13 in the Algarve Elite Cup, Anderlecht's U16 also participated this weekend in the tournament in Portugal, specifically for players born in 2009. U13 finish 6th at tournament in Portugal

After finishing third in the Belgian league, Anderlecht's U13s traveled to Portugal for the prestigious Algarve Elite Cup. In a competitive tournament with strong teams from different countries, purple and white managed to win four out of eight matches, resulting in a sixth place. Throughout the tournament, the U13 never really were dominated by their opponents. They managed to perform consistently, but were sometimes just short of victory against the strongest teams. Players enjoy several days of vacation

Anderlecht will train without six internationals for the next few days. César Huerta (Mexico), Jan-Carlo Simic (Serbia), Moussa N'Diaye (Senegal), Lucas Hey (Denmark U21), Keisuke Goto (Japan U21) and Ali (Morocco U21) were called up for international duty.
