Now that Jan Vertonghen is fit again, the question arises as to when he will be back at kick-off for the first time. ‘Jan also knows he is not 100 per cent yet. It is still too early for him to play 90 minutes,' coach David Hubert told his press conference this afternoon. According to Hubert, the fact that Anderlecht has been eliminated in Europe is a good thing for Vertonghen, though. Read more »

In the upcoming Clasico in Sclessin, Anderlecht has the chance to definitively qualify for the Champions Playoffs. However, RSCA's players need to raise their level considerably compared to their recent defeat against Union. However, according to David Hubert, Union did not have an upper hand; he stressed that the team simply was unable to capitalize on chances, which led to doubts after the 0-2 deficit. “Our intentions remain unchanged: we play to win, and that includes Sunday against Standard,” Hubert said. “Hubert now has time to train theory also on practice field”

This week is only the second week since David Hubert took over as head coach that Anderlecht has not played a midweek game. No Dolberg against Union either?

No Dolberg against Union either?

Also against Union, purple and white will probably have to do without top scorer Dolberg. The signals about the Dane are remarkable and especially contradictory. Earlier we heard that Dolberg's condition was mainly a mental issue and that his injury cannot be made worse by playing. Coach Hubert, however, seemed to hint otherwise at yesterday's press conference ahead of tonight's match against Fenerbahçe. Read more »
