Offer for Cenk Özkacar rejected

Anderlecht are reported to have made an offer for Cenk Özkacar, a 23-year-old Turkish left-footed central defender who currently plays at Valencia, although he can also perform as a left-back. Özkacar is 1m90 tall and played 25 games last season in which he gave one assist. He also already collected nine caps for the Turkish national team. In the 2021-2022 season, Özkacar was loaned to OHL by Lyon before being acquired by Valencia. Read more »

Anderlecht currently appear to be in pole position to acquire Filip Marchwinski from Lech Poznan. Purple-white are said to have offered three million euros for the tall play maker, making him the most concrete of all clubs showing interest. Marchwinski is one of the most sought-after players in the Polish first division and fits the profile Anderlecht has in mind for the position of attacking midfielder: creative and physically strong.

Anderlecht beat Wolfsburg with 2-1

Anderlecht won the last test for the league against Wolfsburg. It came 0-1 behind, but Purple White were able to turn the tide after half-time after the substitutions of Dolberg and Dreyer. By then, Wolfsburg had substituted all their better players and Coosemans prevented the equaliser twice. So not many conclusions can be drawn after this victory, only that this Anderlecht can use every reinforcement. Moreover, it remains to be seen how Amuzu, who had to leave the field injured, will fare. Read more »

 The 28-year-old experienced goalkeeper Giovanni Danti has signed a two-year contract with RSC Anderlecht Futsal. He previously played for clubs such as Palmeiras, Sao Paulo and Juventude AG and was also voted best goalkeeper of the F-League, the highest division in Japan.  Read more »

Italian interest in Louis Patris

According to transfer specialist Sacha Tavolieri, Louis Patris leaving Anderlecht on a rental basis is not out of the question. Three Italian clubs are said to be showing interest in the right-back who was bought from OHL last season. The clubs are Venezia, Lecce and Parma. Interest in Omgba according to Dutch press

According to the Dutch press, Anderlecht are showing interest in the services of Aimé Omgba, who is owned by NAC Breda. Omgba is a 21-year-old flanker who can perform on both the left and right. He has both Dutch and Cameroonian nationality and was trained at RCL Leiderdorp and Feyenoord before joining NEC Nijmegen. He left for his current club NAC Breda in 2021. Last season, he played 32 games in which he scored eight goals and provided seven assists.

Killian Sardella could be heading to Germany; at least that was reported in the media earlier this week. In parallel, contract negotiations on an extension do continue. A number of Flemish newspapers report that talks are proceeding in a positive atmosphere. No concrete offer from Werder Bremen has reportedly been received yet either. Read more »

Anderlecht are taking the benefits of Sergio Gomez's transfer. The Spaniard left for Manchester City in 2022 and is now brought in by Real Sociedad for around €9 million.
