Anderlecht drew 1-1 at Antwerp. In an exciting match, where the game went up and down quickly, Purple-White took an early lead through Leoni through a flutter by Butez. Before halftime, both teams had good chances, but Schmeichel was attentive. After halftime, Antwerp increased the pressure and Anderlecht found it increasingly difficult to get out of the game. In the closing stages, a ball ended up with Ilenikhena, who scored the equalizer from close range. Anderlecht failed to win for a second time this week against Standard. It played 2-2 and had quite a difficult time against a nippy Standard. Anderlecht never really got into its game. Dreyer put Purple and White ahead, but Kawabe just before halftime and Kanga just after halftime, ensured the Liege lead. Fifteen minutes before time, Dreyer provided the equalizer from the spot. Anderlecht won 2-0 against Standard in the Croku Cup. The match was briefly stopped at the end due to disturbances in the Standard supporters' box. Standard played well before halftime, but Stroeykens very cleverly kicked the 1-0 into goal. After halftime, Standard defended sloppily, putting Dreyer in position. The Dane did not hesitate and scored the 2-0. Standard hit the post, but after a red card for Price, the Rouches were completely out of the soup. An unsavory apotheosis followed in the end when Standard supporters started throwing chairs.

Anderlecht did what it had to do with a 1-3 win in Westerlo. Dreyer's 0-1 was a meager harvest, as Purple-White spilled with chances. In the closing stages of the first half, Westerlo had some good chances, but after halftime Anderlecht put things in order through Delaney and Dolberg, even though it missed some great chances again.
